About St. Baldrick's
Ri Ra Irish Pub & the St. Baldrick's Foundation to Raise Funds for Childhood Cancer Research
Inspired by the noble quest to conquer kids' cancer and having raised $66,068 in September 2006, Ri Ra Irish Pubs held their third annual "Halfway to St. Patrick's Day" head shave on September 16th 2007. The day was a terrific success with a total of $64,489 raised for the St. Baldrick Foundation.
The events received terrific media coverage including making the TV News in Portland. Our 2008 event is scheduled for Saturday 13th September in all pubs except Ri Ra Evansville which is scheduled for Sunday 14th. Our target is to raise more than we did last year.
